It’s been around six years since I entered the video making business. Starting as a documentary director for media foundation lokaalmondiaal, I traveled the world, making video productions for clients like BBC World, MTV and non-profit organizations. Subjects ranged from poverty, climate change and human rights to cooking and sports.
About a year ago I went freelance, a decision I have not regretted since. One key thing that has changed is that I turned from just filmmaking to a more multimedia approach. As a particular example I’d like to draw your attention to a project I’ve been participating in, called Disputed Waters. I believe that this way of storytelling, combining video, photography and text, presented in an interactive form, has a great future ahead. Especially given the en masse turn of traditional media toward innovative and web-based initiatives for their output.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading through my posts. I’m not a real blog addict, as you might have noticed, but I try to update my site on a regular basis.

Via Zoom.nl op deze blog terecht gekomen. Ga je volgen want zulk een werk spreekt me zeer aan. Ooit een droom van mij geweest om dit te worden maar helaas liep mijn levensweg anders.
